SIAM CSE 2023

From Feb 26 till Mar 3, 2023, we will organize the SIAM conference on computational science and engineering (CSE) in the RAI Congress Centre, Amsterdam. We expect 2000+ participants from all over the world.
For your information, on Wednesday, March 1, there will be a public event in the evening with TED talks by 5 renowned international speakers. The conference will be preceded by a hackathon (weekend Feb 25-26), with challenges of the companies Siemens, AMD, Roche, ASML, Amazon, KUKA.

Van 26 februari tot en met 3 maart 2023 organiseer ik SIAM CSE 2023 (Computational Science and Engineering) in de RAI te Amsterdam, de grootste conferentie van SIAM (2000+) en ook de grootste wiskunde-conferentie ooit gehouden in Nederland. Naast een aantal prachtige invited speakers op een variëteit van thema’s zullen er ook sessies met mini-symposia zijn. Wellicht dat velen onder jullie ook een mini-symposium zouden willen organiseren? Deadline voor indiening van een MS voorstel is eind augustus, vervolgens dienen voor eind september dan alle sprekers een abstract in te dienen.

Op woensdagavond 1 maart zal overigens een groots publieksevenement plaatsvinden, met 5 ‘’TED-type talks’’, speciaal voor Amsterdammers (en omgeving), en wereldwijd gestreamd, om wiskunde voor CSE onder de aandacht te brengen.
