Dear SC colleagues,
In February 2020, we are organing the SCEE-2020 conference, Scientific Computing in Electrical Engineering. The conference series aims at thorough interaction between scientific computing researchers and engineers from EE. Topics like discretization, model order reduction, solution of linear systems etc. are often on the agenda. This may be an excellent opportunity to either "sell" your work to this community, or to learn more about the possible applications for your methods. Below is the final announcement for the conference, so if you have ideas to present your recent work, please don't hesitate and send in a contribution.
Best regards,
Wil Schilders, chair of SCEE-2020

This conference Series brings together mathematicians and electrical/electronic engineers to discuss new and exciting developments. Especially in the era with data science, model order reduction, machine and deep learning dominating the scientific news, many new avenues for methods have been opened and will be discussed. Details can be found at https://www.scee-conferences.org/.
The following renowned speakers confirmed their presence:
Jasmin Smajic, ETH Zürich - Switzerland
Romanus Dyczij-Edlinger - Universty of Saarland - Germany Liliana Borcea - University of Michigan - USA Slawomir Koziel - Reykjavik University - Iceland
On Sunday evening, there will be a mystery guest speaker, with an entertaining lecture that will inspire many.
Participation of young researchers is highly encouraged, one SCEE Young Scientist Award of 1000 EURO cash will be offered by the SCEE Foundation.
We encourage you to also come to the meeting, and send in a paper on your recent research! The deadline is October 1 (see website for more instructions).
