Future Energy conference 2017

Dear Madam/Sir,

We hereby would like to invite you to the second edition of the Computational Sciences for Future Energy Conference 2017 that will be held on 19^th & 20^th September 2017 at the Pullman Hotel  in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Goal

The conference will bring together the Dutch research community in  computational science for energy applications.

The conference is open to all scientists working in the field of Computational Science related to Future Energy and is particularly relevant for all PhD students and senior researchers in the Shell-NWO program `Computational Sciences for Energy Research’ (CSER) and the NWO programs `CO2 Neutral Fuels’ and `Uncertainty Reduction in Smart Energy Systems’ (URSES).

Topics

Computational science related to: geosciences, wind energy, solar energy, multiphase flow, chemistry/catalysis and molecular modelling, CO2 neutral fuels, uncertainty reduction in smart energy systems and material sciences related to future energy.

Abstract submission

All the participating PhD students are expected to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. The poster presentation will include a short pitch presentation of one minute, including a single slide introducing the poster topic.

An award will be granted to the PhD student with the best poster presentation.

You can submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation via the conference website.

Deadline abstract submission:  July 1^st  2017

Because of the limited number of time slots for oral presentations, the Scientific Committee will make a selection from the abstracts submitted for oral presentations. The result of the selection will be notified to the authors by end of July. Abstracts submitted but not selected for an oral presentation will be transferred to a poster presentation.
