We are pleased to announce that our annual European Women in Mathematics (EWM-NL) meeting will take place on Wednesday 30 November 2016. Our keynote speakers are:
- Tomas Brage (http://www.genderingmint.uni-freiburg.de/index.php/tagung/referierende/prof-dr-tomas-brage) (Lund University, winner of the Gunilla Jarlbro award), who will discuss practical ways to increase gender equality in academia;
- Naomi Ellemers (http://www.naomi-ellemers.nl/) (Utrecht University, one of Athena's Angels), who will talk about implicit biases;
- Corina Brussaard (http://www.dw.com/en/women-climate-scientists-conquer-antarctica/a-16650017) (NIOZ, UvA), who will share career advice.
We would like to emphasize that although our organization is aimed at women, we very much welcome male mathematicians to our meeting! The issues at hand can only be solved together with the whole mathematics community. So please join us in our meeting and let's discuss!
